ISP Finalists in Stars of Children & Young People Awards
ISP are proud to have several finalists at this year's prestigious Children and Young People Awards.

The Stars of Children and Young People Awards, supported by Care England, is a new and exciting awards event shining a light on the stars of children and young people.
They’ll be paying tribute to the workforce, who through dedication and a commitment to care, go above and beyond to support vulnerable children and young people.
Among the impressive list of finalists are the ISP Enfield team, ISP Teynham team, and Amber Miles and Jo Maw from the Teynham team.

The Above & Beyond Team Award
This award recognises an exceptional team who go above and beyond not only for children and young people, but also in their support for one another in order to deliver an outstanding service.
ISP Enfield
ISP Enfield have been nominated for this award. Holding Ofsted Outstanding status for over 15 years, thanks to its unwavering child-centred approach, the team excels in culturally sensitive placements and multidisciplinary support, helping children to thrive. Their dedication transforms lives, which is something echoed by both the foster families they support and by Ofsted.
At their latest inspection, ISP Enfield were commended for having a strong child-centred ethos as well as matching children with families of the same or familiar cultural or linguistic background.
Registered Manager, Annaya, shared “We strive to put our children, young people, and foster parents at the heart of everything we do. There is nothing quite like knowing that you are changing children’s lives every day”
Foster families supported by ISP Enfield are extremely complimentary about the team. One foster parent, Fiona, said “I feel so proud to be part of such a brilliant team of foster parents at ISP. ISP is an incredibly supportive agency to be a part of.”
The Excellence in Fostering & Adoption Award
This award recognises an those who exemplify excellence in both fostering and adopting children. Individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, compassion, and resilience throughout the foster and adoption journey, positively impacting the lives of the children.

ISP Teynham
Our team at ISP Teynham have been nominated for this award. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, their close-knit team support each other fully, passionate about the children's outcomes but also supporting foster families and recognising their achievements. The team look at research to inform their practice and every member of the team plays a vital role in the success of being recognised as outstanding.
In their latest report, Ofsted said “Foster carers enjoy supportive and professional relationships with the agency. They feel connected to the agency and with each other. An experienced, enthusiastic and ambitious management team runs the agency.”
Pradeep commended the team for their ‘tireless dedication to providing the best care and support to vulnerable children’, saying “I’d like to express how proud I am of the entire team and all of our inspiring foster parents - without their enthusiasm, many young people and children wouldn’t be able to achieve the great things they are destined to do.”

The Awesome Administrator Award
This award recognises an individual who has a reputation for ‘getting it done’, and who’s administrative duties have a real impact on the quality and efficiency of the service.
Amber Miles from ISP Teynham
Amber Miles, Senior Administrator, has been nominated for the Awesome Administrator Award. She has been a vital part of the team for six years. Known for her dedication, creativity, and support, she plays a key role in compliance, events, and engagement. Amber’s proudest moments include helping secure an Outstanding Ofsted rating as well as organising the memorable Teynham Gala.

The Learning & Development Award
This award recognises team or individuals who have demonstrated an innovative approach to identifying training needs and delivering content and techniques. The workforce development programme will have demonstrated an incredible impact on the quality of care provision and staff developmental and retention.
Jo Maw, Advisory Teacher based at ISP Teynham.
Jo Maw is an Advisory Teacher at ISP Teynham nominated for the Learning & Development Award. Jo is a key member of the team at Teynham, known for her commitment and passion for helping children achieve their potential. Her ambitions extend beyond her role at ISP, where Jo works as a Community First Responder for SECAmb Ambulance Service, and takes part in regular charity fundraisers; recently completing a Lands End to John O'Groats bike ride for NSPCC.
