Our Bromsgrove fostering team provides specialist therapeutic training and support to foster carers across the Midlands, helping them make a lasting difference to the lives of young people.
Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and working with local authorities across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Hereford, Redditch, Coventry, Nuneaton and the surrounding areas, we provide high-quality foster care for children who need safe, stable homes.
With almost 40 years’ experience supporting children with complex needs, we’ve developed a wide range of services to help foster carers understand each young person’s experiences and support them to make progress in care.
When you join our team, you’ll receive wrap-around support from a dedicated professional team, regular supervision, a 24/7 social worker helpline and a generous fostering allowance – up to £2,754 per month, per child, depending on experience and training.

The ISP Therapeutic Approach
We believe therapeutic foster care should help children and young people understand who they are and reach their emotional, social and educational potential. Every child at ISP sits at the centre of their support, with care plans tailored to their individual needs.
We bring together a team of foster parents, therapists, social workers and educational specialists who work collaboratively to support each young person’s emotional and psychological development. This enhanced level of therapeutic support for children in care gives every young person the opportunity to lead healthy, happy lives.
Children receive an individual treatment plan created by our in-house therapists, which may include:

Cognitive behavioural therapy
Foster parents are part of the therapeutic team and receive training and ongoing guidance to help them understand a child’s experiences and respond in ways that help them feel safe, understood and more able to manage their emotions.
This approach gives young people the opportunity to grow, heal and build healthier relationships.
