Over 600 children are living in foster care in Wolverhampton. Sadly, many of these children will have experienced neglect or abuse, sometimes both. We're urgently looking for people who are interested in fostering in Wolverhampton to get in touch with us, so together, we can build brighter futures for young people in care.
As the UK’s first independent fostering agency and founders of therapeutic foster care, we have over 30 years’ experience in training and developing professional foster parents, helping them to make an extraordinary difference.
Whether you’re new to fostering or looking to transfer, we’ll provide you with the specialist training and extensive 24/7 support that’ll help you become a true fostering professional.
It takes around 4-6 months to become a foster parent - this include home visits with an assessing social worker, background checks (including a DBS) and references, as well as some initial training too.
While it may seem a long time, it's designed to make sure that you're right for fostering, and that fostering is right for you. Plus, all our foster parents agree that fostering is one of the most rewarding careers in the world. So what are you waiting for?

Over many years, we’ve developed a wrap-around support package that our foster parents can tap into, whenever they need it – you’re only ever a phone call away from professional advice and specialist services.
