HOW TO BECOME A FOSTER PARENT IN WOLVERHAMPTON
It takes around 4-6 months to become a foster parent – this include home visits with an assessing social worker, background checks (including a DBS) and references, as well as some initial training too.
While it may seem a long time, it’s designed to make sure that you’re right for fostering, and that fostering is right for you. Plus, all our foster parents agree that fostering is one of the most rewarding careers in the world. So what are you waiting for?
