Fostering is extremely rewarding, but it comes with its own unique challenges.
That’s why a robust support system is essential, and at ISP, we’ve developed an expansive support package available to you whenever needed:
Fostering isn’t your average job; it takes patience, empathy and a deep dedication to changing young lives.
We recognise this by rewarding you with a generous fostering allowance and additional benefits so you don't have to worry about your finances. You'll also have opportunities to earn more when you complete our Senior Grade Pathway Programme.
You'll also receive a range of additional perks, including:
Our experience has taught us that children and their well-being should always be at the forefront of everything we do.
Caring for their well-being means understanding that many children in care are living with trauma from early childhood experiences. Trauma can impact all areas of life, so they need patient, understanding and therapeutically trained foster parents to help them heal.
That's why we developed our holistic therapeutic approach, including our City & Guilds Therapeutic Pathway Programme for foster parents. This training will help you understand trauma and teach you how to apply therapeutic concepts in day-to-day parenting.
Sometimes, children in care need additional guidance from fostering specialists, such as therapists, to help them work through their thoughts, feelings and emotions so they can begin their recovery journey. This is why you'll also have access to our expert team, who will provide around-the-clock practical and emotional support for your whole family.
So, if you’re ready to join us on our mission to build brighter tomorrows for children in care through therapeutic practices and support, we’d love to hear from you.
Whether you’re just beginning your fostering journey or considering a switch to an agency that truly understands the unique needs of children in care and equips you with the expertise to support them, reach out to us today.
While we can’t alter the past, together, we can help children and young people move toward futures filled with hope, care, and boundless opportunities.
