Milton Keynes fostering agency
Around 400 children are living in foster care in Milton Keynes for a number of reasons, including a family crisis, mental illness, or bereavement. Others may have experienced abuse or neglect and need the kindness and support of a foster parent. Could you help a vulnerable child?
We work with local authorities across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, and parts of Oxfordshire to provide children in foster care with safe, loving homes, where they’re encouraged to reach their full potential.
Our Milton Keynes fostering team is situated in Wavendon in a stunning country manor, which offers a peaceful setting for staff, foster parents, and children to connect in a safe, therapeutic environment and is perfect for regular training and support groups, 1:1 supervision, therapy, family events and more.
We’ve been working with children and young people with complex needs for over 35 years and have developed a variety of wrap-around services to ensure foster parents and children receive the support and expertise they need to make extraordinary progress.
These services include a therapeutic care training programme, 24/7 helpline with a social worker, regular supervision and mentoring, as well as therapy and educational support for children.
As well as a specialist training and support package, foster parents receive a generous fostering allowance – up to £612 per week, per child, depending on your experience and training. – plus additional allowances and rewards.
