There's currently a shortage of foster parents who have space in their homes and hearts to care for vulnerable children and teenagers in care. So we're urgently looking to speak to more people who are interested in fostering in Loughborough and can provide a safe, loving family environment to a child. Whether you’re new to fostering or looking to transfer, we’ll provide you with the specialist training and extensive 24/7 support that’ll help you become a true fostering professional.
Becoming a foster parent is one of the most rewarding things you’ll ever do – you’re giving a child, who may not have had the best start in life, a chance to flourish with your love, care and understanding.
Plus, the process may not be as difficult as you think – we’ll aim to complete your fostering assessment within 4-6 months. However, we’ll always move at a pace that’s right for you.
As a therapeutic foster care agency, we work with children and young people in Loughborough with complex needs. While this is incredibly rewarding, we also know that it can be challenging at times.
Over many years, we’ve developed a wrap-around support package that our foster parents can tap into, whenever they need it – you’re only ever a phone call away from professional advice and specialist services.
