Interested in fostering in Kent?
Over 2,000 children are in care across Kent and Medway, but sadly there’s a shortage of foster parents who are able to offer them a stable, loving home. If you’re interested in fostering in Kent, then we’d love to hear from you.
We opened our first centre in Kent over 30 years ago, and have been providing extraordinary experiences for foster families and children in care ever since. We currently have 3 centres across Kent – Rainham, Whitstable and Teynham – as well as our head office, based in Sittingbourne and the ISP School.
We’ve supported hundreds of families in Kent over the years, and have always placed them at the centre of everything we do. As an ISP foster parent, you’ll be surrounded by a professional team of social workers, therapists, educational experts and fostering advisors, helping you achieve extraordinary outcomes.
As well as an unrivalled support package, you’ll receive specialist therapeutic training, the opportunity to gain professional qualifications, a generous weekly fostering allowance (up to £526 per child), regular local family events, and lots more.
We’re urgently looking to recruit foster parents across Kent, including Isle of Sheppey, Maidstone, Canterbury, Ashford, Folkestone, Dover and surrounding areas.
BECOMING A FOSTER PARENT IN KENT
Becoming a foster parent is one of the most rewarding things you’ll ever do – you’re giving a child, who may not have had the best start in life, a chance to flourish with your love, care and understanding.
The process may not be as difficult as you think – we’ll aim to complete your fostering assessment within 4-6 months. However, we’ll always move at a pace that’s right for you.
