As a therapeutic fostering agency, our foster parents receive the very best training and support to help them make a life-changing difference to these children.

You don’t need experience to become a foster parent with us, as you’ll receive full therapeutic training from the moment you join, plus 24/7 support from a professional team of social workers, therapists, advisory teachers, and fostering advisors.

Can I foster?

The only initial requirements to foster are that you:

  • Are over 21 years old
  • Have the legal right to live in the UK
  • Have a spare bedroom that’s always available to a child

Of course, you’ll also need to be committed to providing the best care to a child, and have lots of patience, empathy and resilience too.

Respite Care in Hastings

If you’d like to make a difference to a child in foster care, but cannot commit to the 24/7 nature of the role, then becoming a respite foster parent in Hastings may be perfect for you.

Respite foster parents are an incredibly important part of our support network as they provide families with the chance to rest and recharge.

Respite (or short breaks) is often planned well in advance and generally takes place for 1 or 2 nights over weekends or school holidays – sometimes a little longer.

You’ll receive all the same high-quality training and support as our regular foster parents, plus a generous nightly allowance too.
