Over 1,600 children are living in foster care in Hampshire. Sadly, many of them will have experienced abuse, neglect or parental illness or bereavement, and need the love and support of a foster family.
As a therapeutic fostering agency, we’ve been supporting some of the region’s most vulnerable children and their foster parents for over 30 years. We pride ourselves in delivering a ‘wrap-around’ support package to our families, which includes:
- A dedicated supervising social worker with a realistic caseload, so you’ll always receive the guidance and support you need.
- A fostering advisor with direct experience of fostering – your ‘ear to listen’ and to work through any challenges you may face.
- A friendly and approachable manager, who will get to know you and the children you care for personally.
- A team of other childcare professionals, including in-house therapists, education specialists and so much more.
- 27/7 support line with a qualified social worker, so you’re never on your own.
- Excellent fostering allowance – between £440 – £580 per week for each child in your care, plus other benefits.
- 22 nights of respite to help you recharge your batteries.
Located in the idyllic surroundings of the New Forest, our Southampton fostering centre supports a passionate team of foster parents across Hampshire and Dorset.
