Fostering in Swindon

Fostering in Swindon

Swindon fostering agency

We're an independent therapeutic fostering agency, who have been making a long-lasting difference to the lives of some of our most vulnerable children for over 30 years, and we're now looking to build a team of passionate foster parents in Swindon and the surrounding areas.

As the UK's first independent fostering agency and pioneers of therapeutic foster care, we understand the services that foster parents and the young people in their care need to flourish, and make sure they have easy access to professional tailored support, whenever they need it. We call this our in-house 'wrap-around' support package and it's something we've developed over many years.

Our foster parents are supported by:

  • A dedicated supervising social worker with a realistic caseload, so you'll always receive the guidance and support you need.
  • A fostering advisor with direct experience of fostering - your 'ear to listen' and to work through any challenges you may face together, alongside your social worker.
  • A friendly and approachable manager, who will get to know you and the children you care for personally.
  • A team of other childcare professionals, including in-house therapists, education specialists and so much more.
  • 27/7 support line with a qualified social worker, so you're never on your own.
  • Excellent payment package - between £440 - £580 per week for each child in your care, plus other benefits.

We're on an exciting journey to bring therapeutic foster care to vulnerable children and young people living around the Swindon area, providing them with the services and support they need to thrive. But we can't do it alone and need a team of compassionate and dedicated foster parents to join us on our journey and help build extraordinary futures for young people in care.
